Dr. Maier is an assistant professor of Measurement and Quantitative Methods and is interested in the development of statistical models for complex data structures. Her current research focuses on the application of hierarchical measurement models to multilevel item response theory. Other areas of interest include Bayesian data analysis methods for educational research and the study of gender differences in science and mathematics education.
